Three Day Diet
The three day diet is becoming very popular in today's jet-age. It's because in today's fast paced world everybody wants quick results for anything and everything they do, be it diets or any other activity and amongst this fad for a diet, which shows quick results, the three day diet is the most popular. Imagine a diet which can help you lose weight within just three days. The thought of this only makes the clients happy. It's also for those people who find fighting against food cravings a very difficult chore. So this diet is useful in such circumstances when you just need some pounds quickly, like for example if next week is your brother's wedding or just before some important meeting at your workplace etc.
But since it's a three day diet, the weight lost in this case is gained back, that is the biggest drawback of this kind of diet, but there are a lot of positives attached to it too other this only drawback. But for losing weight in the long run this kind of diet plan is not recommended. There are no chemicals of any kind involved in this diet whatsoever like it's believed by many people, since they feel only a low calorie diet can't result in weight loss, which is very untrue. This diet only follows the principle of a low-calorie diet. The basic idea behind this plan is only a low calorie diet, mostly in terms of water and a substantial amount of fat from your body, which results in weight loss.
The three-day diet plan meals are segregated into three days and discussed below.
Day 1
Starting with Breakfast
For breakfast as liquid only water or black tea or coffee is recommended, half cup grapefruit juice or half the fruit itself. As solids for breakfast only a slice of toasted bread spread with 1 tbsp. peanut butter is only recommended, nothing more noting less than this has to had.
Lunch
The liquid is the same as for breakfast, as solids only one slice toast and half cup tuna.
Dinner
Liquid remains the same out here too. Solids include lean meat, 3ounce in quantity, 1 cup each of carrots and beans respectively, one apple and one cup vanilla ice-cream.
Day 2
Breakfast
The liquid is the same. The fruit is changed to banana the second day and along with the toast instead of peanut butter, one egg has to had instead, in any form
Lunch
Liquid remains the same out here too. Solids include five salted crackers and one cup tuna or cottage cheese.
Dinner
Liquid is the same out here too. As solids one cup cabbage or broccoli, half cup carrots, two hot dogs or beef franks, one banana and one cup vanilla ice-cream.
Day 3
Breakfast
The liquid is the same itself. 1 slice of cheddar cheese of one ounce size, five salted crackers and one apple.
Lunch
Liquid same. One slice toast with one hard boiled egg.
Dinner
Liquid remains the same. 1 cup each of tuna, cauliflower, melon and carrots respectively and half cup vanilla ice-cream.
