Day 1 of 3 Day Diet


Since I gained my lil four pounds back and at 189lbs I know that I need to make a change and with three days off work, I thought I might try the three day diet.

today i’m at the end of day one and hungry. i’ve only been awake for 12hours but I’m ready to settle down. I’m glad that i didn’t try this on a work day but although i’m hungry, this diet is supposedly a way to loose 10lbs in three days and even if i could loose 5, it would totally be worth it, so wish me luck =)

here’s the diet below:

Day 1

Breakfast

Black coffee or tea, with 1-2 packets Sweet & Low or Equal

1/2 grapefruit or juice

1 piece toast with 1 tablespoon peanut butter

Lunch

1/2 cup tuna

1 piece toast

Black coffee or tea, with 1-2 packets Sweet & Low or Equal

Dinner

3 ounces any lean meat or chicken

1 cup green beans

1 cup carrots

1 apple

1 cup regular vanilla ice cream

Day 2

Breakfast

Black coffee or tea, with 1-2 packets Sweet & Low or Equal

1 egg

1/2 banana

1 piece toast

Lunch

1 cup cottage cheese or tuna

8 regular saltine crackers

Dinner

2 beef franks

1 cup broccoli or cabbage

1/2 cup carrots

1/2 banana

1/2 cup regular vanilla ice cream

Day 3

Breakfast

Black coffee or tea, with 1-2 packets Sweet & Low or Equal

5 regular saltine crackers

1 ounce cheddar cheese

1 apple

Lunch

Black coffee or tea, with 1-2 packets Sweet & Low or Equal

1 boiled egg

1 piece toast

Dinner

1 cup tuna

1 cup carrots

1 cup cauliflower

1 cup melon

1/2 cup regular vanilla ice cream

In addition to its strict daily food prescription, dieters drink 4 cups of water or noncaloric drinks daily.

Has anyone had the 3 day diet work for them?


I want to lose 10 lbs fast, and this diet claims if you stick to it exactly you can lose 10lbs in 3 days. But, I am at college and only have cafateria food to work with, and some of the days there isn’t the foods provided that i need to fufill the requierments of the diet plan, like boiled eggs for instance.It can seem like alot of food at times though. So for another question, has anyone herd of a diet similar to this that works? Anything is helpful, I’m open to any suggestions =]

Hey well my friend did this diet just last week and she lost 5 pds and her mom lost 6 pounds. I am over weight and I started it today and am hoping it will work. Hope this helps.

1 cup cauliflower
Half cantaloupe
Half cup vanilla ice cream (Healthy Choice)

I got this plan from a friend at work but it didn’t work for me I weighed about 140lbs and didn’t lose anything. She lost almost 10lbs though I’m not sure how much she weighed

any success with the 3 day diet?

Has anyone tried the 3 day chemical diet? Your on the diet for three days and then off for four… Has it worked for anyone who has tried it?

hey i am following the 3 day diet(i know its a fad diet!)…..and does anyone know what i can substitute for tuna and lean meat?
i heard that i can substitute cottage cheese for tuna?is that right?????

and anyways does this diet work for short term weight loss?

None of those diets work. If you want to lose weight, stop drinking soda pop, even diet soda pop. Start drinking water. And when you eat your supper, take small portions, and take small bites. This will help make you not feel so hungry. And do a lot of walking, when the weather is nice.

Help with diet (3 day diet mainly)?

I am going to start the 3 day diet, but with one problem. is there ANYTHING i can substitute the tuna for? i cant eat tuna. anyone have suggestions for me please!?!?!?

if you eat black salmon I think its better for you then tuna and you can always substitute tuna with salad.

You will lose weight with this diet.
However it is mostly water(I know you didn’t want to hear that,but its true).

You can do it about every 2 weeks or so.

3 day diet?

im 5′3 and weigh about 117i want to go on the three day diet. please dont critisize be about how i shouldent loose 10lbs.or whatever…this diet is perfectly healthy your eating tuna,eggs, wheat, fruits, vegtibles and lean meats. and your still. eating 3 meals a day.

i just want to know if any of you guys know if the starting weight effects how much you loose???

and if any of you have done this diet how were the end results?

It will only help if you exercise and thats the only way you can lose weight for just 3 days .
