Do you do the 3 day diet 3 days before you need the weight off?


Or does it matter when?

Short-term diet do no long-term good. To lose weight and keep it off you must make a LIFE LONG lifestyle change.

All a 3-day diet is going to do is drive you mad, make you have cravings you won’t be able to control, send your body into starvation mode, and get you depressed when you gain weight once it’s over and you go back to your ‘normal’ diet.

Has any one heard about the 3 day diet? If so did you loose any weight?

When i had my baby 3 yrs ago i gained 50lbs. i lost 7 lbs. with the 3 day diet and i would go for 30 minute walks. Then i started this low carb high protein diet and lost 17 lbs. i lost 10lbs on my own. and i think i have like 15lbs to go. I have not regained any weight. Does any one have any suggestions?

The three day diet created in 1985 makes you loose 10 pounds every 3 days. Here it is and good luck. Don’t forget to just drink 4 glasses of water every day.

I wont the 3 day diet that you can loose `10 lbs in 3 days?

The diet consist of eating peanut butter on toast for breakfast and tuna sometimes and I remember you could eat 2 weiners for dinner on one day. You was suppose to be able to loose 10 lbs in 3 days. I would like to have the diet if any one has it. I don’t remember the name of it.

I actually have tried this diet.
After meals I was content.
I didn’t eat too much & I didn’t under eat.
Yet, on the 2nd day I kind of gave in due to other cravings.
I’m not good at following thees kind of things ;xx

i tryed this kind of short term diets, you loose weight indeed, but the bad effects are there" you get weak and all the time you are hungry… and after you lose weight, after a month, more or less, you gain that weight again. after you starve , your body takes the first opportunity for making a "stock", in case you decide to starve again
anyway, people are different, so, maybe somebody else will tell you the opposite

The british foundation says the 3 day diet is nothing to do with them and they dont know where it originated. Ive seen the american version (bit strange, frank sausage saline crackers and weired stuff) but whats the english version.

3 day diet: what kind of melon and how did you cut it?

We’re doing the 3 day diet. Yes I know it’s a fad, terrible for your metabolism, and you’ll most likely gain it all back. Given that, the diet calls for 1 cup of melon on the last day and I don’t know what is best or how to measure out the one cup. Thanks in advance!

I don’t think it really matters, just cut it small enough so you can fit it into a measuring cup and, well, MEASURE IT.

does the 3 day diet work for 14 year olds?

im 14 and im going on the 3 day diet with my mom and was wondering if it works or not. ive heard that people have lost 8-10 pounds but they are older so will it work on me?

It isn’t safe for a 14 year old to go on any sort of diet like this unless you are under a doctors supervision. Your body is in the midst of big changes, your hormones are building you can’t do anything drastically that is safe diet wise. Please don’t do it.

Does anyone have a different 3 day diet?

I have tried the 3 day diet from the AHA, the one where you have to eat the tuna, the bananas, etc. I did pretty good and lost some weight off of it, but now I am so burnt out on it that I would like to try something different, any suggestions?

this is what I DO.
Breakfast:
1 rice cake from quakers
1T. peanut butter spread on it
skim milk
Lunch:
1 serv. of fruit
sandwich ( 2 slices of whole wheat bread, lettuce, and 1 piece of lunch meat)
water
Dinner:
eat whatver you want!!
i usually eat 1 piece of chicken, salad with low-fat dresing, mashed potatoes with gravy
it is all portion control
i exercise 50 minutes a day on the treadmile and burn 580 calories a day…5 days a week
i usually on average lose 3lbs a week!!
